In lower school, we encourage exploration and trying new things! Students get involved in a variety of electives on a weekly basis, including art, music, physical education, theater, LEGO and robotics. Once they reach upper school, students will get to choose their electives based on their interests and passions.

All lower school students experience the maker mindset. In first and second grade, students build their creative problem solving skills and refine their fine motor skills to develop safe building and tinkering practices. As they move through third and fourth grade, our gifted learners begin to use more of the tools in the actual Makerspace studaio, as well as building their engineering, math, and technology skills.
