Enrichment Opportunities

The first years of school set the stage for how children grow a positive relationship with school; this is especially true for gifted students.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Our extracurricular programs offer students a space and time to pursue and strengthen
their individual interests and skills.
We offer quality after school clubs to enrich the experience of our students. Each session encompasses a wide range of choices. In the past, after school clubs have included chess club, math pentathlon, sticky fingers cooking, fencing, Chinese, cinema 101, Minecraft, Harry Potter, taekwondo, cooking, 3D printing and many more.

Clubs take place directly after school from 3:45pm until 4:45pm. Costs vary depending on the club. In addition, ACE also has a supervised aftercare program that lasts until 5:45pm.

ACE FAMILY MAKERSPACE

Students utilize the Makerspace on a regular basis during the school day. But the space is designed to blur the line between traditionally siloed academic classes, the line between home life and school life, and to make ACE more community facing. In the ACE Family, Makerspace we blend art, math and humanities together. Complex projects are done over long periods of time to serve others in the community. Parents and faculty members are encouraged to use the tools and resources in the Makerspace for their own personal or professional projects.

field trips

All grades go on regular field trips to bring what they learn in the classroom to life! Older students take overnight trips that build connection, subject expertise and confidence.
Featured Annual Trip:

Grand Teton National Park

Our 6th through 8th graders take an annual science trip to Grand Teton National Park where they participate in the Teton Science School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The goal of the trip is to build scientific literacy, motivate stewardship for local and global place, and gain community skills and self-awareness

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The ACE community is involved and active in the school. We have regular events throughout the year for parents, students and teachers to get together.

Shakespeare Festival

Each year students are treated to a Renaissance Faire filled with Shakespeare-inspired crafts, events, activities, and entertainment, followed by musical and theatrical performances. Students of all ages experience the timeless beauty of Shakespeare's works and have the opportunity to perform.

Global Fest

Global Festival is ACE's signature 'No Place for Hate' event. Multicultural, multi-language music is performed, as well as material celebrating love, generosity and community. Families are invited to showcase their cultural heritage and holidays by hosting a cultural booth.

Grandpeoples’ Day

A day to allow friends and family or our students to explore and engage with all the things we do at ACE. It highlights our fine arts programming and gives our students time to share their passions with their loved ones.

Academic Events

From science fairs to Earth Day, from No Place for Hate (NP4H) to career expo, ACE students participate in a variety of programs to enhance their school experience.
