Enrichment Opportunities

At ACE Academy, enrichment opportunities like field trips, community events, and after-school clubs help students explore interests, connect with others, and bring learning to life beyond the classroom.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Our extracurricular programs offer students a space and time to pursue and strengthen
their individual interests and skills.
ACE offers a variety of high-quality after-school clubs designed to enrich students' learning and spark new interests. Each session includes a diverse selection of activities—past offerings have included chess, Math Pentathlon, Sticky Fingers cooking, fencing, Chinese, Cinema 101, Minecraft, Dungeons & Dragons, taekwondo, 3D printing, and more.

Clubs run from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m., with costs varying by activity. For families needing extended care, ACE also provides a supervised aftercare program until 5:45 p.m.

field trips

All grades go on regular field trips to bring what they learn in the classroom to life! Older students take overnight trips that build connection, subject expertise and confidence.
Featured Annual Trip:

Grand Teton National Park

Our 6th through 8th graders take an annual science trip to Grand Teton National Park where they participate in the Teton Science School in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The goal of the trip is to build scientific literacy, motivate stewardship for local and global place, and gain community skills and self-awareness

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The ACE community is involved and active in the school. We have regular events throughout the year for parents, students and teachers to get together.

Shakespeare Festival

Each year students are treated to a Renaissance Faire filled with Shakespeare-inspired crafts, events, activities, and entertainment, followed by musical and theatrical performances. Students of all ages experience the timeless beauty of Shakespeare's works and have the opportunity to perform.

ACE Innovation

ACE Innovation is one of our flagship, school-wide programs, culminating each spring in a community showcase of student creativity and problem-solving. Rooted in design thinking, this hands-on, student-driven experience empowers gifted learners to explore their interests, take risks, and bring their ideas to life. By engaging in real-world challenges, students build confidence, develop critical analysis skills, and learn to approach problems with creativity and resilience.

Global Fest

Global Festival is ACE's signature 'No Place for Hate' event. Multicultural, multi-language music is performed, as well as material celebrating love, generosity and community. Families are invited to showcase their cultural heritage and holidays by hosting a cultural booth.

Grandpeoples’ Day

A day to allow friends and family or our students to explore and engage with all the things we do at ACE. It highlights our fine arts programming and gives our students time to share their passions with their loved ones.

Academic Events

ACE students take part in a wide range of enriching programs that deepen learning and build real-world skills. From science fairs and No Place for Hate (NP4H) initiatives to career expos, National History Day, Model UN, and math competitions, these opportunities help students explore their interests, develop leadership, and connect with the broader community.
